For over 35 years Life Education have been providing health and wellbeing programmes in New Zealand, delivered through interactive learning experiences. They educate over 250,000 tamariki and rangatahi each year, empowering them to make positive choices for their health and wellbeing. That’s why they were the perfect partner for us, to support young people to learn about online safety and digital wellbeing.
Skills and knowledge for a digital world
It’s important that anyone who has access to a device, is prepared to navigate the digital world. This is especially true for young people. Technology and the online space is an area that can present many issues and risks, but can also enhance teaching and learning experiences significantly. We’ve teamed up with Life Education and Harold the Giraffe, to spread the word about online safety, critical thinking skills, respectful relationships, dealing with online bullying and where to go for help.
