Back to School made easier
The Warehouse Group is all about being here for good, and this year they partnered with KidsCan to donate 100,000 classroom essentials and $36,500 worth of gift cards to 73 schools from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
Anna Shipley, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for The Warehouse Group says:
We’re pleased to be working with KidsCan to help make sure these 73 schools have everything they need to start the year well. Starting back at school is a big moment for Kiwi kids and KidsCan plays an important role in taking some of the pressure off families at what can be an expensive time. We hope the donated stationery, sun hats, and vouchers for these schools make a difference.
Alongside this donation, we made it easy for the community to support KidsCan through the 2022 Friends and Family (F&F) campaign.
Thank you for your support – an update on the latest F&F campaign
Every year Noel Leeming runs a campaign where discounted pricing is extended to friends and family of our school customers. In last year’s June and November F&F campaigns, 2.5% of total sales went towards supporting Aotearoa’s leading charity – KidsCan.
A total of $15,000 was raised.
All proceeds are dedicated to supporting tamariki experiencing hardship by providing food, jackets, shoes, and health products to schools and early childhood centres across New Zealand.

Not only were we able to give our school communities some awesome deals, but we raised over $15,000 for a worthy charity!
