HomeGround Apartment Fit-out
Supporting those who look after people in times of greatest need
The Warehouse Group has a strong history of giving back to its communities, so it was an honour for the business team to be involved in Auckland City Mission’s HomeGround apartment fit-out.
The brief wasn’t straightforward. There were 80 apartments across 10 levels needing to be equipped with robust and cost-effective products. Covid related supply chain challenges made sourcing complex and staged execution made delivery and installation timing critical to get right.
After sourcing and supplying whiteware and televisions, the project quickly turned into a multi-brand effort with small appliances, furnishings, and manchester provided. The business team then came onsite with wraparound services – delivering, installing, removing and recycling over 17 skip bins of packaging waste.
From specialist advice to liaising with project managers – the business team were there as a trusted guide. Leaning into the Mission’s needs and finding solutions that encapsulated their vision. And true to the Mission’s heart, everything was done with good relationships and trust as the foundation.
